The Lie-Nielsen No. 60½ Block Plane is based on the legendary Stanley No. 60½. This low angle block plane from Lie-Nielsen is a superb little tool for any toolkit — ideal for trimming end grain, chamfering edges, and general fine-tuning.

 Note: Take care around knots and softwood defects — the fine teeth can be vulnerable. Lie-Nielsen recommends honing a secondary bevel of 30º or higher depending on the wood.
