Auriou no longer make these fabulous carving tools designed by English master carver Chris Pye about 15 years ago.
Michel Auriou decided in 2024 that they will not be making these tools again, but we remained foolishly optimistic that he might change his mind.

Complete with a copy of an instruction guide for the letter carving tools written originally by Chris Pye.

14 tool Letter Carving Set comprising:

• 7 Allongee chisels 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 & 45mm (an allongee shape is where the blade fans out from the bolster)
• Fishtail Chisel - 14mm (a fishtail shape is where the last part if the blade flares - these make for delicate tools which should not be whacked with a mallet)
• Fishtail gouge 3F – 10mm
• Series 5 gouge – 11mm & 20mm
• Series 6 gouge – 10mm, 13 mm & 22mm
