Product Description

300mm stitch 8 (medium) – with an overall length of 370mm to include the handle.

Stitched on the curved underside only.

Great for smoothing out hollow form like a chair seat.

You use an Auriou rasp much like a plane, with a skew angle to your work (not straight) as this is more comfortable for the user. The angle is about 20-30 degrees, but you will “feel” the optimum bite when using the rasp. If you are a left hander, please do not purchase this right-handed rasp but refer to our main Auriou rasps page for left-handed options.
