Complete with a hardwood stand to house the chisels this pre-owned set of 6 Ashley Iles chisels are all in G++ condition.

(F = Fine which is basically new or unused, G++ is Good Condition ++, used but very well look after. G+ is used or some wear & tear/minor work needed. When buying tools for use you shouldn’t go below these levels (G, G- etc as these are generally for collectors rather than users)

1/8”, 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” & 1” wide. 7 1/4” overall.

Butt or American Pattern Bevel Edge Chisels are a shorter version of the standard length. Used where the chisel is pushed rather than struck with a mallet, the shorter handle fitting snugly into the palm of the hand.

Hardened O1 Carbon Steel. Padauk handles. They are commonly used in confined or tight spaces. The short blade allows for better control and accuracy, also making them suitable for fine joinery work, cleaning out corners, and other detailed woodworking tasks where a longer chisel may be impractical..

All the brass ferules are fine on these chisels. The hardwood handles are also in G + condition, no cracks etc.
