A reprint of the plates of 4500 objects from the catalogue of the world's largest collection of old wrought iron gathered from all over Europe between 1854 and 1925 by one man, Henry le Secq des Tournelles and on display since the 1920s in Rouen. Amongst the tools and instruments are magnificent 18th century calipers and surgical saws. There are also superb locks, iron doors and cabinets, steel jewellery, furniture, other architectural ironwork and many domestic items.
