Sanding Blocks Ref: SBG/R/B/Y/S

We came across these sanding blocks when doing a show in the USA as they were being sold on an adjacent stand. We noticed the very positive reaction from woodworkers when they tried them so we thought we would try them out at a few shows in England this year. Well it appears the great British woodworker has given these blocks the thumbs up as well.

These blocks were original made for sanding car bodies in the car plants but their comfortable design, excellent quick release clips and padded bottoms make them ideal for woodworking.

These are the main features:

The blocks fit a normal human hand comfortably

They float - some woodworkers will use a water bucket. If the block falls to the bottom, it sits in the grit; if it floats, it self rinses.

They have an easy-to-grip surface when wet, dry, or dusty

You can change paper quickly and easily

They are not too heavy or too light - just right in fact

You can see what you are sanding the block is in tight places as the top is shaped to allow this.

The design of the block spreads load across the hand, giving you finger tip control without creating cramp.

They have retaining clips that are easy to load, stay open and don’t require three hands when you load the sandpaper, yet stay tight enough to hold four strips of sandpaper without the need to readjust the tension when you tear off each sheet.
Each block measures 7 3/4" x 2 3/4" at the base

Can can be used wet or dry.

4 vibrant colours so you can colour code your blocks according to the grit of sandpaper you use. Get that workshop organised!
