Introduced in 2010 these carpenters chisels have elm wood octagonal handles with an oval section. We prefer these to the bench chisels. The blades are forged from K 510 steel, hardened up to 60 RC. Bevel edged with well marked facets. The blades are finely ground and polished.

Made in Switzerland.The Carpenter chisels are available in seven different sizes individually or as a set of six tools.

The Butt Chisel allows maximum cutting control by allowing you to get very close to the piece of work. Can be used for cleaning up and fitting joints. Ideal for modelling or where working space is restricted. Octagonal handle with oval section, robust acacia wood. Razor-sharp finely honed blade, HRC 60. Blade length 87mm, overall length 155mm.
