Small Spokeshave, Flat-Soled or Curved Ref: L-NSS

- Based on an Edward Preston design from the early 20th century.

- Bronze with an A-2 steel cyro blade hardened to Rockwell 60-62.

- 6.3/4" long with a 5/8" sole and has a 1.3/8" x 1/8" blade.

- The result of collaboration between Lie-Nielsen Toolworks and Kentucky Master Chair Maker Brian Boggs.

- The body and cap are solid bronze

- Hickory handles.

- 1" wide sole with 2" x 1/8" A2 tool steel blade

- The compassed base has a radius of 5", it is possible for the user to modify the sole for tighter radii.

Boggs Concave Spokeshave Ref: L-N Concave-BOGGS

The Boggs Concave Spokeshave is a collaboration between Kentucky Master Chair Maker Brian Boggs and Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. A 2 5/8" diameter sole makes this tool the right choice for working chair spindles and other round parts. Weight 8 oz. Body is 9 5/8" long, A-2 blade 1 1/8" x 1/8" thick, Bronze body and cap. Hickory handles.
