Flexcut Scorps
These knives are essentially right-angled gouges designed for carving areas where the full length of a conventional gouge will not fit. Knife carvers will find them useful for hollowing deep or narrow cavities. The handedness (right or left) of the knife should be choosen by how you carve, not necessarily by if you are left or right handed. Choose a right-handed knive if you are right handed and carve with the blade towards you. If you carve away from yourself, choose a left-handed knife. Left-handers should choose the inverse.

The SK range of tools are designed to fit the SK100 quick connect palm handle. They also to fit: The Skil/Bosch power carver with a SK105 adaptor. The Proxxon power carver using the SK109 adaptor. The Flexcut Craft Carver Kits include the handle with either 4 or 10 SK profiles. These are marvellous kits to get you hooked on carving. Start with one of these and you can add extra profiles as the carving addiction grows and new carving challenges emerge.
