Auriou Tapered Rat Tail Rasps

These rat tail rasps are quite specialised Auriou rasps but they are very useful in certain circumstances. The 4" rat tail in particular is popular with woodturners for making spirals in goblet stems.

Fitted with French walnut handles and brass ferrules and supplied in clear plastic wallet.

Stitched to the tip! Tapered round rasp.

Great for shaping round mortises or for creating a spiral on a goblet stem. Use with twist action to utilise all the teeth.
